These harvests are quite invasive, and the post-surgical phase is sometimes characterized by swelling and pain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Today, grafts derived from <span class=\"bold\">bank bone<\/span> (human) are available which are remarkably effective and make the bone augmentation technique decidedly less invasive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Another technique, which enhances the first and makes it safer, involves <span class=\"bold\">blood sampling<\/span> (a few cc) and <span class=\"bold\">centrifugation<\/span>.<br>\nThis produces a <span class=\"bold\">fibrin membrane<\/span> that, once applied to the <span class=\"bold\">bone graft, improves healing<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The two combined techniques make the grafts more acceptable to the patient, reducing pain and swelling.\n\nOnce the graft is complete, computer-assisted implantology will allow for minimally invasive implant placement using the flapless, scalpel-free, and suture-free techniques.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The constant search for minimally invasive techniques continues!
