These are ground to reduce their volume which will be replaced with that of a crown usually made of gold-ceramic, or more modernly with zirconia-ceramic or all-ceramic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">A <strong>removable type<\/strong> is when the prosthetic device is designed to be removed from the oral cavity. If it replaces the entire dental arch, it will be a complete denture; if it replaces only some teeth, it will be a partial denture, made entirely of acrylic material or structured with a metal part called a framework.
