In a complex treatment plan involving a number of implants and crowns, or specific aesthetic needs, it is essential to perform a thorough diagnostic study of the patient's face and the shape of the patient's future teeth.

To date, 2D photographic images are still the basis for this process, but its limitations have already been overcome with the advent of THREE-DIMENSIONAL images of patients' faces thanks to the use of FACIAL SCANNERS.

Thanks to these, the case is studied, planned and evaluated with extreme precision by capturing 3D images of the face and positioning the dental impressions acquired with the INTRAORAL SCANNER inside it thanks to the use of dedicated software.

By capturing the positions of patients' smiles and matching the teeth with virtual instruments, the dental technician can perform their work with greater precision and predictability, having all the necessary information at the same time and without the patient being present in the office.
