Oral hygiene and prevention

All dental treatments, from the simplest to the most complex, must be performed in the absence of gum inflammation. To this end, it is recommended to undergo oral hygiene sessions every six months for adequate maintenance, but if periodontal disease is present, the interval can be shortened to four or three months. During professional oral hygiene, the general oral health and the maintenance of conservative and prosthetic restorations will be assessed clinically and with radiographic examinations.
