DR.ssa Burcin Sonmez

Born in Istanbul, Türkiye, in 1986, she graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics in 2009 from Yeditepe University in Istanbul.
From 2009 to 2010 he attended the first year of specialization in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Istanbul, and then moved to Italy, in Rome, the same year.
In 2009 he was part of the organizing committee of the Turkish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (EDAD) Congress in Istanbul.
In 2012 he obtained a Master's degree in Developmental Dentistry at the University of Rome - La Sapienza, defending a thesis entitled "Bad habits in growing patients".
In 2014 he obtained his PhD in Odontostomatological Diseases at the University of Rome - La Sapienza.
In 2013 he completed a training internship at the School of Specialization in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington - School of Dentistry in Seattle, WA, USA.
In 2013, he obtained recognition of his degree from the Ministry of Health with decree no. 2011/497, enabling him to practice the profession of Dentistry in Italy.
Since 2013 she has been registered in the Register of Dentists of the Provincial Order of Physicians, Surgeons and Dentists of Rome.
In 2016 he specialized in Orthodontics by completing the annual theoretical-practical training course held by Dr. Davide Mirabella on the topic “Straight Wire. Treatment philosophy according to McLaughlin, Bennet, Trevisi: 15 years of registered experience and its evolution”.
In 2018 he obtained the Clinical Master's Degree in SWM Technique on patient at the University of Ferrara
She is the author of several publications in international journals.

He practices in Rome, specializing in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.
